This cozy gem was located on a secluded 10-acre ranch with horses, goats, cows, and a pond right out front. The rustic beauty is evident in all the small details the owners put into the decor and construction.
I loved the outdoor bathtub but didn't get to use it because in January, it's just a tad too cold to be relaxing. One of my favorite things about this property is that although it's a small space, there are divided rooms and two people could easily stay here without invading each other's space. My favorite room was the little loft nook with an adult-size bean bag chair where I sat and read Herman Hesse's "Siddhartha" and edited my photos, with a hot cup of tea next to me.
One of the things that made this such a great stay and experience was the personal touches I've never gotten at other Airbnb stays. They left thank you cards, free champagne, and even treats and a toy for my pup! At some places I've felt like one guest out of many, but here I felt like I was special. And in my book, that's what made this place such a great value.
It was a neat experience to have horses grazing right outside your door.
Zoe and the horses sniffed each other, then decided they could co-exist peacefully. Zoe ran free all day and mom got some great pictures of her in her element.
