Hi I'm Katrina. I moved to California in 2013 from Arizona and never left. We love to go on roadtrips and explore all this great State has to offer.

After nursing school I took an unintended year off to reconnect. During that time I discovered my passion for photography, road trips to explore nature, and other destinations located throughout California. We also like to explore different AirBnB properties in rural settings, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This is my dog, Zoe. She's a 9 year-old female Shiba Inu that I've had since she was 6 weeks old. Our journey together began in 2012 when I went to pick out the puppy I wanted at the breeder's. She was the shy one in the corner while all her siblings were playing and curious about their new hooman visitor.

The moment I picked her up she sprang to life, licking my face and trying to make me laugh. From that day forward, we've been inseparable. Whenever I'm being a rotten human being, I'm reminded that Zoe chose me as her mom because she saw something special in me. I try to live up to her standard everyday and one of my favorite quotes I live by is "be the person your dog thinks you are".

Zoe keeps me honest and makes me feel loved. I choose roadtrip destinations and accommodations with her in mind. One of my very favorite things in life is to see her running free; she looks so ridiculously happy with a huge stupid grin on her face the whole time. So I try to find places where this is allowed.
